Jane Remover’s Live Exhibit Tour Feels Like Bathing in Digital Fire in the Best Way Possible

It’s been a busy year and 8 months for electronic/rock/rap/pop/digicore (and honestly probably a few more genres) artist Jane Remover. After a year of only a couple singles in 2024, Jane kicked it into high gear in January of 2025 with rage-digicore fusion song “JRJRJR”, the lead single for their album Revengeseekerz. After that, their music output didn’t stop, despite going on tour multiple times, opening for other artists, and playing multiple festivals. In February they dropped Ghostholding, the first full-length album released for their indie-rock side project venturing, followed soon after by the second single for Revengeseekerz, “Dancing with your eyes closed”, which remains their biggest song to date. The album surprise dropped on April 4, putting an end to the mysterious aura-farming buildup since “JRJRJR” dropped.

Staging Nostalgia: Phoebe Bridgers' Stadium Sleepover

By pure chance both times, I was able to see Phoebe Bridgers perform at her Buskirk Chumley popup show this summer and once again on her official “Lost” tour. Every time, I’ve been struck by feeling as though I’ve been transported into another world–one that doesn’t necessarily exist but is true; one that I can only access if I use my heart instead of my brain. If her popup show looked literally like being at a sleepover in your friend’s basement (are we allowed to say what happened at those now?), her stadium tour encapsulated what it is to look back on these memories.
