Tuesday Temptations: Passover Edition
Hello all you soul fans. This week has been a hectic week because for the first time ever, I had to make a Passover dinner. My time with Tuesday Temptations is short this week due to the holiday; however, this might just be one of my favorite installments of TT. While cooking a dinner for eight people (prior to yesterday, all I had ever made was scrambled eggs) all I listened to was Motown. It pumped me up enough to succeed in making a tasty dinner. But enough boasting, what I’m really here to tell you about is a fantastic video that bridges the gap between Judaism and Motown songs. One might look at me a little crazy when I say that I will be talking about a Jewish connection to Motown’s music, but lo and behold, the internet provides an endless abyss of possibilities. It was on Youtube that my dear friend Max found the video that answered my prayers. So what could this fantastic video be?
Well, why don’t you give it a listen…
(For those who can’t figure it out. It’s The Temptations singing a medley of Fiddler on The Roof.)
