Toro y Moi – Causers of this

Ever since I saw Toro y Moi play at Greek’s last fall, I have been listening to the album nonstop.
With the plethora of lo-fi/chillwave bands out there, it’s hard to tell which are legit and which are just riding this genre wave. Toro y Moi may be hyped, but he is excellent at what he does. This is the perfect mix of lo-fi, dance, psych, and r&b. It’s an aural soundgasm. It’s smooth and it’s sexy. It’s top 5 of 2010 already. RIYL: Daft Punk, Washed Out, Neon Indian
