Bloomington’s Gardendale & Berkley creates songs with a theatrical flare that sound as if “Regina Spektor listened to a lot of Neutral Milk Hotel and then began to write.” Founded in 2008 by Indiana University playwriting student Loren Gurman, the band soon released ‘The White’s The Fire EP’, and the album ‘Charlie Potential’ in 2010.
The all new G&B lineup (As of February 2011) includes guitarist Gabriel Garber of You’re A Liar, Oliver Hopkins and Michael Preuschl of HotFox, bassist Andrew Walden and electronics composition artist David Benson.
