- Pastor of Muppets, Citizen Dick and Bluerton at The Bishop starting at 10 pm for $4
As people dress in tribute to their favorite movie character or animal, The Bishop will be hosting a tribute band night. The three bands that will be performing may be playing songs from bands you know, but never in a way you have heard them before.
Pastor of Muppets, the token brass Metallica tribute band, will be coming all the way from France to play in Bloomington. Differing from a typical heavy metal tribute band, Pastor of Muppets is made up of strictly brass players.
Along with a Metallica band, Bluerton the Weezer tribute band and Citizen Dick, the “Singles” soundtrack tribute band will be playing the night away.
- New Order, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, The Cure at The Root Cellar Lounge and FARMbar for free from 9-10:15pm and then only a $4 dollar cover charge. Must be 21+
The FARMbar and Root Cellar Lounge are offering a variety of great performances for an inexpensive and fun night. The theme of the night seems to be dance, dance, dance with four new wave DJs playing until the early hours of the morning. The DJs will be playing at different stages throughout the night so if you are not feeling a show at the main stage, you can just head over to the upstairs stage.
