INFO

If you like solid rock with an orchestral twist, you’ll enjoy Light Pollution. The Chicago-based band’s music may garner comparisons to fellow indie darlings, the Arcade Fire, but Light Pollution sets themselves a part with a single message courtesy of their MySpace page: We are in love. They are in love with kaleidoscopic experimentation, whether its with distorted lo-fi vocals or pop-friendly instrumentation. Songs like “Witchcraft” are delightfully spooky sing-a-longs, while “Reflection” floats through an acid trip.
Light Pollution guarantees something worth being in love with.
